Thomas Pugh and Eleanor Llywel (Trayan Mawr) Dissidents 1687
« on: Friday 20 December 19 00:42 GMT (UK) »
Hi,
I have records for Thomas Pugh, weaver, buried 1703 at Trayan Mawr, Llywel and his widow Eleanor buried there in 1709.

I think they are the same husband and wife who were arrested as dissidents in Llywel 1687. Please see attached.

Does anyone know the circumstances of  the arrest, the consequences, and if the continued as non-confrmists?

Also information on their ancestry and any children they may have had?

The name of the Chapel or Meeting House they may have attended?

I suspect that their children may have left Llywell after 1687, and became conformists to the established Church of Wales.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Cheers,

And all the best Season's greetings to you in Rootschat!
