Alexander is a Retired joiner (master ). Widower of Agnes Muirhead. Cant help with exact time of death. Cause of death Bronchitis ? the Diarrhea ?? Suggest you ask Scotlandspeople for a clearer scan. They are usually very helpful with this . Regards orkrad

The time of death looks like 3 h, 10 M (P.M.), i.e., 3:10 PM.  The second line under cause of death might be "inanition" (malnutrition), which would be consistent with diarrhea.  And the fourth line is probably the duration; my best guess would be "__ ten hours"

Agnes Mowat might have a Caithness origin?  :)

Thanks all, I've reached out to SP to ask for a better scan, we'll see.

@ Skoosh - I don't know the implications/importance of Agnes being of Caithness ? Care to educate me :)
