excellent outcome --- as the media files did not copy 'back' when I tried.

That is a good outcome....better than having to name your first stomach ulcer ...."Ancestry".

And the tree that you will be keeping is....... Canning Family Tree 2019?
YES, was a great outcome Wivenhoe!
The tree I will be keeping is the Canning Family Tree https://www.ancestry.com.au/family-tree/tree/154780646/family - which is the one in my Mum (BuggiePethick)'s account.  It is the one with the most photos by far.
I am fortunate to have the most wonderful parents! Both still alive and well into their 80s.

Finley

Hi Finley,
I bit the bullet and bought FTM 2019... and it has already been worth it's weight.
I went onto the FTM support and she told me exactly what to do.
If it is FT2 in Ancestry Accout 2 (AA2) that you want to transfer into AA1
1. IN FTM > Login to the AA2 account and 'New Tree' > Download Tree from Ancestry
2.  Once that tree has completely downloaded (need to wait for the media files - this is important.  It looks like it has finished but the media files may take a couple of hours to finish downloading),
UNLINK that FT2 from AA2 (this is done in PLAN  Current Tree tab, the DD next to 'Sync Now'
3. Log OUT of AA2 within FTM,
4. Log INTO AA1 within FTM
5. LINK FT2 with the AA1

{updated to get the AAs right ;-) }
... And voila!  There it is :) :)
Hope this helps.
Their chat support is great btw
