Regarding the DNA match are any of the distant matches people with trees with Scandinavia names
Can you start dividing matches into maternal and paternal side
If with Ancestry it's worth looking at ethnicity of all matches .
If any are high percentage European Scandinavian you then have to look at mutual matches .
Building your tree by adding Anders unknown from Norway and Anders father ./Anders mother Norway and approx dates may help others .Many people are starting to test and matches come in slowly .
.I hope you are as lucky as us ....we found mum's half cousin same grndmother (showing as 2nd cousin relationship)
+ on her RUSSIan Jewish side ,2nd from her grandfather's sisters ie half cousins with shared great grandfather.
Does the Anders in newspaper have any resemblance his middle name Andersson may indicate that his father's first name was also Anders .* If it is the man in paper parents listed as Andres Kjearvik ( check my spelling) + Bertha SANDVIK
