Just been having a look at passenger lists and there is a Jim Morris leaving on the Cymric 1912 going to Boston, he is a stoker.

He says he was in Beighton, wife Mrs L Morris 62 Richard Lane, Beighton and he is going to Connecticut, New Haven.

There is a Naturalization Petition for a Jim Morris from Leicester arriving 1912 and residing in Connecticut 1917 with the birth year of 16 Apr 1888 wife Lillian

1911

And bingo, managed to find his marriage. It is online

Jim Morris to Lily Bloxam on 19 May 1908, Beighton, father James Douglas Morris shoemaker, Jim was a pit labour man
Lily's father Thomas was also a shoemaker

What a Christmas present ! Thank you so much Willsy for confirming that it is Jim. Finally I know  what happened to him, I'm delighted  :D.
I will look up Beighton as I haven't heard of it before.
That was a surprise to see Lily sailed on the Lusitania !

Thankyou  again willsy, maureen and david for the wealth of information you have found , I will enjoy putting it all together today.
Merry Christmas !

I'm still not sure about Beighton there's one near Sheffield and one in Norfolk. Probably Sheffield but I'll do more digging.

It seems Jim married twice from what you have all found.
I knew  nothing after him being a 13 year old errand boy.
I'm absolutely ecstatic with all this info, I wish you could see the smile on my face.
Thank you all very much , I'm so grateful.

Ho,ho! I think I looked at "that word" and saw BRIGHTON. Sigh.

That's where Jim and Lil* are in 1911,I guess.
It's the one in/near Sheffield.
