What happened to Jim Morris ?
« on: Tuesday 24 December 19 11:49 GMT (UK) »
Please can some kind person find any information at all about Jim Morris ?

He was baptised on 11 Sept 1888 at St. Marys Leicester.
His parents were James Douglas Morris and Louisa Jane nee Brooks.
I have found one mention of him in the 1901 census but nothing else.

I'll be very grateful for any help at all.

Thank you very much Maureen that looks very interesting.
I have wondered whether he died young or emigrated. I couldn't find a death for him so this looks worth checking out.

Thank you David and Maureen very intriguing ! Could this finally be him  :D.
I appreciate your help very much.
He was called just Jim ,no middle name. He had an elder brother named James who died as a baby.

I'm curious now, if this is him would he have travelled alone at 14 years old. As usual more questions  ;D

Wouldn't he be about 23/24 when he came to the US?

You said he was on the 1911 with parents but I think that was the 1901?

It may be worth asking on the US Board (giving a link to this thread).

Kind regards,
Maureen
