HELP! Edward Kershaw
« on: Thursday 26 December 19 12:39 GMT (UK) »
After looking at censuses and Ancestry UK, it's become clear that my great-great grandfather may have had another child, Edward Kershaw (born in 1908-1909 in Hull), to a mother called Ann Kershaw, born in Cheshire and aged 20 at the time of his birth.

I can't find any marriages or deaths for Edward, or if he had any children. Please help me!

Edward Kershaw, birth registration December quarter 1908 in Hull RD - no mother's maiden name shown, which usually means that the child was illegitimate.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

I think you have the right marriage - 1939 has Ethel M Kershaw with Edward.

Well worth a look at the 1939 entry - Edward and Ethel are in the Leeming household  ;)
