Joseph Smyth married Sarah Casburn
« on: Friday 27 December 19 15:42 GMT (UK) »
This couple applied for a license 3 December 1785 in Suffolk.

Does it mention what village/town Sarah Casburn was from please?

I found children baptized at Little Thurlow Suffolk 1788-1798, Sarah was buried 3 August 1800 at Little Thurlow wife of Joseph Smith.

I would suggest that Sarah Casburn was the one bp.25/1/1762 Burwell, Cambridgeshire, dau. of Jonathan and Elizabeth.   Burwell only 13 miles from Little Thurlow.

Thank you for the suggestion I don't have Jonathan's children
Does she have a brother Thomas?

The will of Thomas Casburn 1812 (Newnham Street, farmer) mentions his nephews 7 in total children of Joseph Smyth by his late wife Sarah.
It also mentions a nephew William Casburn so he must have had another brother to pass down the name.
