Not sure but wonder if it was when a weak or sickly baby was baptised at home shortly after birth which would be at home in those days
There was a superstition thstban “ unchrisomed “ child would not go to heaven but stay in perpetual limbo.
This was mostly in The Roman Catholic religion.
A Vicar or Rector would go to the house where the baby was and using a small font and blessed water would baptise the child.
Presumably someone would rush to the Rectory or Vicarage to say the newborn baby was not expected to live .
I am sure some other RootsChatter will have more exact knowledge for you .
Does it give the child’s age, have not seen a Baptism certificate or entry from that era.

It has just occurred to me,it may mean the child was Baptised by the Bishop when he made his visit - ie Visitation. V
