As a start, Thomas in 1861, with his older sister. She was listed as boatman's daughter. If looking at the Ancestry entry, ignore the Sanders family indexed wit them. They actually live next door (2 and 3 Mill

Mary A Hambridge    17
Thomas Hambridge    4 b Banbury

Class: RG 9; Piece: 918; Folio: 12; Page: 17;

Working back from her,, this looks likely from 1851. The address is the Jolly Boatman, in Mill Lane and the same Sanders family are next door. All b Northrop except where listed

James Hambridge    30 - boatman and beerhouse keeper b Capengton, OXfordshir?
Fanny Hambridge    31
Fanny Hambridge    12
Mary A Hambridge    4
John Hambridge    2
Samuel Hambridge    1
William Braine    30 - lodger, pensioner

And 1871 - on a boat moored at The Folly, Oxford Canal, Napton, Warwickshire. All canal boatmen

James Hambidge    57 - b Hensham
Samuel Hambidge    19 - b Banbury
Thomas Hambidge    13 - b Banbury

Class: RG10; Piece: 3219; Folio: 66; Page: 25;

Birth
HAMBRIDGE, THOMAS
mother's maiden name BRAIN
Q1 1858 BANBURY UNION  Volume 03A  Page 599

Suggests the 1851 lodger may be a relative

I'm referring to the marriage registration - both spouses have to sign (or make a mark if not able to write).
