Not sure how far you have gone back with the Family to find the Golden name?

HENRY BEN Warner Bapt 1 March 1801 St Andrew, Holborn to JAMES/SARAH
Siblings that are easy to find;
ELIZABETH ANN 23 AUG 1798, birth 1795
MARY 23 AUG 1798
SARAH MARGARET 15 JUL 1804

1841 Census
Ashby St
St Pancras
James Warner   65 Gold ...?
Anne Warner   25 Milliner
James Warner   13****

Could Sarah, Wife of James be nee Golden?
(havent found a Marriage though c 1791-1795)

James Henry Warners Father died 1845

He married as Henry Benjamin Warner to Elizabeth BEECH 12 August 1826 St. Andrew'S, Holborn, Middlesex

Trish :)

Yes I have found the above. I am also of the opinion that Henry Ben Warner separates from Elizabeth Beech and sets up a new family with a Matilda (possibly Collings or Collins). One of their children is a John Golding Warner 1834-1851. This info from you all is helping to confirm that opinion.

And there is a Marriage;
12 September 1765
Saint Leonards, Shoreditch, London
John WARNER to Elizabeth GOLD

Ancestry has marriage as above, John signed, Elizabeth left her mark.
William Burgess and George Overton witnessed, but they are witnesses for other marriages on the page also.  Bachelor and spinster, married by banns.

Depends if you believe in nominative determinism.
