Top centre of each page on the double page spread is 9 and 10.  The number on the right hand top corner of page is 8.  Right hand page has Township of Thixendale.  The microfilm code is HO 107/1212/11.

Oh my, I am so confussed. Could I ask which website you are using? I've done a single search for each page of the HO107-121-1xx range. 15 though to 18 are missing.

Pages 7 and 8 (with 7 top right) goes to 9 and 10 as you say (8 top right). However where the previous page said Thixendale, this one says Sherburn County York. It looks out of place. The HO matches though. The next page is blank then its Thixendale again.

I think MyHeritage may have a muddle up here  ??? (unless I'm being really dumb!)

First page is the Enumerator's Schedule
County of York
Hundred: Buckrose
Township: Thixendale in Wharram percy Parish
Superntendants Registration District: Pocklington
Registration : East Stamford Bridge
No of Enumeration District 10
Description of ditto: The Village and Township of Thixendale

on the page of your family top RH number 8 and underneath Enumeration Schedule
the page the Ducks are on is a smaller number in top centre of page - the number is 9

the reference for that census is
HO107 Piece1212  Book 11 Folio 8 Page 9
I usually write the reference as HO107 1212  11 8 9

Hope that explains it well enough

You probably know that the 1841 census differs to other census - in that no relationships are given ages of people 15 or over are rounded down to the nearest 5 years p.o.b. is only given as Yes or No in answer to Born in county? (also used is S =Scotland F =Foreign Parts) - of course this wasn't always adhered to -just to confuse us

Suz
Thornhill, Cresswell, Sisson, Harriman, Cripps, Eyre, Walter, Marson, Battison, Holmes, Bailey, Hardman, Fairhurst Noon-mainly in Derbys/Notts-but also Northampton, Oxford, Leics, Lancs-England

Yes, that does all makes sense  ;) I think MyHeritage has an issue with this set. I have all the pages up for Thixendale and the Ducks just aren't there. It appears some pages are missing (H0107-1212-115 through to H0107-1212-118 are missing) and other just don't seem to match the relevent reference numbers  ???

I'm using A******y
and along the bottom it tells there are pages 1-7
Page 1 of 7 is the Enumerators Schedule which I posted

the census then has 2 sections side by side
these are the numbers which are top centre on the sections
1 & 2 then top RH with enumerators schedule underneath 4
3 & 4 -RH 5
5 & 6 -RH 6
7 & 8 -RH 7
9 & 10 RH 8 (the Ducks are on 9  RH 8-so the ref is Folio 8 Page 9)
then 17 & 18 with 17 being blank  and RH12 (so it is a little odd!!)

There is no option on MyHeritage to click to view the next page as I recall there being either on later census' or other websites, so I've been copying the image number, then changing by +1 or -1 to bring up the next. I have the pages from 1&2 to 7&8 as you describe. However the pages 9&10 seem different and no longer say Thixendale in the corner. Then a couple of 'no matches' with the image number then the 17&18 page where there is only one family on the right hand page for Thixendale. There is also no enumerators page at the front, this also comes up as 'no results' for the logical image number before moving on to the last pages of the previous township as expected.

I am able to pop down to the library on Wednesday and use Ancestry. I suspect I'll get it straight away and the problem will be obvious. Thank you for all your help  ;) I'll post again when I've solved the mystery.

Well, found it straight away on Ancestry. It is certainly an error with MyHeratige, it looks to have replaced the page with a completely different record. And yes, my library also has FindMyPast as someone else pointed out which I didnt even realise (found it straight away with that too). Thanks everyone :)
