Where is Allerybar?

This is a bit of a stumper for me. I have a news snippet of a death in "Allerybar, Allan Water, near Hawick" but the death was registered in the Teviothead district (in 1932). I've looked on maps everywhere between Hawick and Teviothead, but haven't got anywhere. Tried different spellings and formatting in Google like Allarybar, Allery Bar and Allary Bar, but all that comes up is a vague mention in an undated Sheriff's Court decree and another in a Beatrix Potter letter of all things, neither of which are any more specific on where this place is. Anyone have any ideas?

Darnit, what was I looking at? I didn't even twig that, Claire, thanks It's a very close spelling, and I have circumstantial evidence that places his family at North House Cottages which is also on that map, further to the north. Would you describe that as being part of the Allen Water area? I see that it's actually next to Fouledge Sike, but Allen Water looks like the nearest 'big' river.
