Commonwealth War Graves Commission are looking for relatives of  Petty Officer First Class Arthur Kyte.  112119 -  Born 5 January 1864 Ross ON Wye Herefordshire  and died Thursday 9 May 1918 - aged 52 years - H M S Vernon Porrtsmouth. Died from disease.  Son of John and Margaret Kyte, of Ross-on-Wye. Sister of Mrs Clara E Teague, Camomile Green, Lydbrook, Gloucester. (mentioned in dispatches)

Location of Grave Old Ground. 13. 14.  Ross Parish Churchyard, Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire.

The private memorial marking the grave of Petty Officer Arthur Kyte is no longer adequate, the CWGC are in the process of producing a new headstone to mark his grave.
