All that information was most useful. I am now trying to find Mary's husband, Walter Edward Pratt b.1863 Mile End, died 1932 London
I have the registration of his birth, parents Thomas Pratt and ? Walton and recorded on his daughter's (Lilian Louisa b.1890) marriage certificate.
I think his wife Mary died in 1894 (Mile End) but can't find the family in 1891. Any ideas?

They certainly are difficult to find ...

There is a Walter Edward PRATT (aged 5, nephew) in the household of Henry HELMICKEN (tailor) at Whitechapel in 1871.  It looks like Henry married Mary PRATT Mar qtr 1852 at Chelsea (1a/228).

Henry Helmiken      45     Whitechapel
Mary Helmiken       47      Bethnal Green
Mary Ann Helmiken   17   Pimlico
Claude S Helmiken    15    St. Georges East
Jas Wm Helmiken      12    Whitechapel
Walter Edw Pratt  Nephew   5    Pimlico
(GBC/1871/0522/0013 )

Then possibly Walter is a student boarding at Chertsey, Surrey in 1881? RG11/767/104 pg19.

Can't see him in 1891 yet ...
