His record is on a subscription site.

The columns for each person's entry in the Police register covers the verso and recto pages. KG, you have only posted the verso page - can you provide the recto page?

No, I think all the relevant columns were filled in when he signed up. This is only the first page of two. The righthand column of the first page says he was reduced to a sub-constable on 1st August 1852. A column on the second page says he resigned on the 17th November 1852.

Interesting that for his religion, I think it says seceder but it was written in another hand, and not C or P.
