Cornelius Kingdom

Is Cornelius Kingdom on the 1911 census?  He's missing from some censuses because he went to sea, but he may have retired by then.  He was born in Brixham in 1851 but came to Hull as a child.  He was skipper of steam trawlers at least as late as 1904, when his trawler was part of the fleet attacked by mistake by the Russian Navy, and I know where he was in 1924.  All help gratefully received.

That would be the Dogger Bank incident, when the Russians attacked the Gamecock Fleet. We have a lot of information about it at The Carnegie Heritage Centre at the corner of West Park.

Hi, Just seen your post on Cornelius Kingdom born 1851 Devon.  Was he the son of Cornelius Kingdom born c1815 Brixham?
I have a lot of Kingdoms from Brixham, Ramsgate, & Hull and i think he could be Cornelius Lawrence Kingdom born 1851 Hull?  son of Cornelius Kingdom born c1815 Brixham.  Cornelius L Kingdom born March Qtr 1851 Hull,  Buried 23rd April 1926 Western Cemetery, Hull.
If this is the same person he is my family tree

Entry from Whites Directory for 1883 lists him as a Fishermen of 3, Ropery Street, Hull. Still living there in 1891.
