His parents were married at Hiawatha, Brown County in 1901 and they were still living there in 1905 so it is highly likely that he was born there.

Your chances of finding a recorded birth are probably not good.

His marriage in 1942.

He was already divorced in 1930 and says he was first married when he was aged 20.

His second marriage in 1932.

This was the period Robert or Charles Robert Douglas Hardy Andrews was born according to some data.  ???

In the obituary for Dr Robert Andrew it says - He practised in Kansas for some time. In 1905 went to Panama as a surgeon in government service, serving for 14 months as physician at the Ancon hospital on the canal. He was invalided home with yellow fever, went to Indian Territory, Oklahoma, as a government doctor at Colony, an Indian settlement. He practised for some years at Carnegie, Okla., where his daughter, Mildred Louise, died in 1908, when she was 6 years old.

1915 census Powhattan Township, Brown, Kansas - Robert with grandparents.
