death record &marriage record worcester

I have found a record of a death for a child relative in 1840 name william george child,born 19/4/1840
died 23/12/1840,I cannot find a record no.on free bmd to send for the certificate can anyone help.I also have been searching for a marriage for a  george child and ann williams aprox 1838-1841.they were  living in Hanley Castle in 1841. ann was born in hay-on wye.thankyou.

No luck so far, I'm afraid.
But here is a train of thought which could be a complete red herring. 
In 1851 the family appear to be living in Staunton with children Mary Ann (, Marian (6), William (2) and George (1) (repeated name in his memory?).  Ann is 40, George senior is 34.
With them is a 'relative' George Jones aged 19.
There is a George Jones born in Hanley Castle in 1831 to parents George and Anne.  Perhaps Ann Williams was previously married to George Jones.
Having said that, I can't find a marriage matching any of these names

Thank you for your interest in these relatives of mine.I sent for a marriage certificate for an ann jones to george child in 1846 kidderminster vol.18 page 532.but I was informed that these 2 were on that page but not married to each other.the problem i am having is the name williams born hay-on wye.
there is an ann dalby married to a george child but i cannot match this.i am beginning to think they were never married!.I think perhaps i should get the birth certificate of william george child born 19/4/1840.died 23/12/1840 to ann child and george child.hanley castle.perhaps this might give me a clue to ann child.there is a census for 1841 for ann child,george child,george jones,eliza jones and a sophia canton.thankyou .jan.

Familysearch has 2 possible Bapts to GEORGE/ANN-e Jones
GEORGE 4 May 1831 Claines
ELIZABETH 9 Feb 1834 Hanley

Ann is born 1806-1811 Welch Hay, Breconshire, Wales on Census.

Thank you for all the info i will have to digest this and get a certificate to try and fathom out if george child/s married ann jones who was a williams (birth name.) or perhaps never married george child at all.

What we seem to think is that Ann was a Widow when she married George Child/s.

Possible Marriage FreeBMD 1838

Her 1st Marriage may have been to a George Jones before 1831 possibly in Wales.
Marriage not found.

The Birth Cert of any of the Child children should confirm this.
