1904 American Silver Company Baseball team of Forestville, Connecticut

This is a photo of the 1904 American Silver Company Baseball team of Forestville, Connecticut. My grandfather, Walter Bates, was the pitcher. Including the cardboard backing, it measures 8X10 but the photo insert alone is 4 ½ x 6 ½.  The coach might be holding a copy of the program or the local paper. It looks like someone coloured in the arms on a few of the players. It wasn’t me!
