Couple of Oswestry baptism look-ups please.
« on: Saturday 01 February 20 17:40 GMT (UK) »
Ancestry shows me a couple of Edward Jones baptisms in Oswestry in 1845. If anyone has access to the full baptism record, I'd be grateful for any more information on these two, please.

Edward Jones 19/10/1845, parents Richard and Elizabeth
Edward John Jones, 27/7/1845, parents Edward and Catherine.

Thanks in advance

Mike

I think the second one has been wrongly transcribed. I had to go through the pages. The entry reads:

John son of Evan John and Catherine Jones, abode Sweeney, occ - labourer

It's the only one for that date.

Thanks - shame that the second one has been so badly transcribed.
Coed y Gof must be the modern Coed-y Go

Any more Edward Jones baptisms that Ancestry has missed? Oswestry/1845.

No worries, I might have to widen the search anyway, so that one will be a start. :)
Thanks again.
