I presume this is the family in 1911. ancestry has them transcribed as O’Breen.

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XW68-VPG

I can’t see the children’s births in indexes.

When and where was William born?

Trying to find an approximate marriage date)

To use Family Search, you need to register but it is free.

Do you mean that William Herbert is a son (brother to your grandfather Frederick Joseph) or is he the brother to Patrick Joseph, your great grandfather?

In that case, is Eleanor the first child born abt 1891?

Thanks.
Your information re William was confusing in post #6.

Sorry, I have more questions.
I have seen the newspaper report (in a published tree) re Herbert William’s death - not William Herbert - aged 15yrs in 1909.
His mother’s death in 1910 is recorded as Mary O’Brien.

Where is she named as Catherine? Which records do you have with this and her surname Cahill?
Do you have any of the children’s birth records?

The published tree refers to Catherine as Katherine Keane Cahill  :-\

Wexford is a long way from Bantry....
Give a man a record and you feed him for a day.
Teach a man to research, and you feed him for a lifetime.
