missing records for McDowell

Samuel Thomson birth c1732 Kirkcudbrightshire,married Elisabeth McDowell on the 25th July 1751 (Scotland select marriages 1561-1910 ) but I have been completely unable to find any other records for her anywhere,
Any help would be gratefully received.
