The only record I could find was their address in 1881 - 4 Ewer Street, Southwark, London.
James & Catherine - Parents
Catherine - Daughter (MY g-grandmother)
Linsley? - Daughter
Fanny - Daughter
John - Son
James - Son

The head of that family is a Mat Weaver.

St Mark Whitechapel 24 Jun 1888
SPINKS Walter           28y  bachelor labourer   6 Goodmans Yard
Father James SPINKS   shoemaker

REGAN Bridget  (x)     31y  spinster                11 Enochs Court
Father Bartholomew DONOVAN  labourer
Witnesses  Hammond FASSENFELT  Annie FASSENFELT (X)

The 'spinster' for Bridget is an error.  Her first marriage was in 1871 to Denis RAGAN who is aged 21, a labourer, father also Denis a labourer. They are in Whitechapel in 1881 and Denis is aged 29, born in Bermondsey, Surrey.

Debra  :)

WOW ... thanks Debra!!  I am so happy to finally have the correct details! :-)

It seems I have been following the wrong family  ::).

McSweeney and variants I have seen a year or so ago but I dismissed that, I'm literally kicking myself.

Hard to take in at the moment but it looks like Sweeney (or something near) was Catherines maiden name?  She had 1 sister Miriam and a Bridget somewhere in the family?

Hannah Maria Haill is her daughter yes and so far I only have her married to a Charles P Jaggs but it's literally guess work.

Thank you so very much for looking into this for me, I will work on those names tomorrow and see what I can find!

 :) :) :)

Thank you, I noticed that too - it does seem it was a mistake on behalf of the person transcribing.  I have had a few matches with Bryan (& variants) so possibility someone related.
