Not very fond of the “bare your soul” aspect of Facebook but was forced to join to access family photos. I do not have so-called friends but recently joined genealogy groups. How do l contribute with copies of certificates, photos or links? How do l attach a pdf or jpeg, how about a spreadsheet of names etc? Yes, l really am very green and don’t even know how to send a personal message but good with file folders, spreadsheets, email? I’ve seen several postings of photos with names and dates right on the photos.

If you want to add a photo or file on facebook then you just click on the photo or paperclip icons on your post and browse you computer to find the file you want to attach.

Sarah, there are lots of videos that will help you on YouTube, but make sure that you choose ones that are reasonably current.
