William Page
« on: Sunday 16 February 20 16:03 GMT (UK) »
Can anyone help, I am looking for my G.Grandfather William Page who I believe died in 1891/2, he was living in Holborn and worked as a Fish Hawker. He was born in 1847 in Whetstone. I would really like to find a death record for him but am unsure where he died. I have followed him through all census records, birth record and marriage record, but can't seem to find a death record!!

Welcome to rootschat

I can see him on the 1881 census in Tothill Street, Finsbury (RG11/341 f60 p1).  Do you have him in 1891

Welcome to Rootschat from me also.

As he does seem to be in Holborn on the 1891 census (if it's him of course, but age and occupation fit) -- he can't have died Q/E Mar 1891 - as you say Despair, census was 5th Apr when he was supposedly alive.

Added -- just wondering why you think he died 1891/2.
Places of interest;
Lancashire, West Yorkshire, Southern Ireland, Scotland.

There is also a death in Islington in 1892, age 47.

Perhaps his widow remarried in 1892/3, which would give the supposed death date?

Added:
No, he was a widower in 1891.
