I'm looking for any records of the so called British Colony in Barcelona around the mid to late 1800s.
I'm particularly looking for anything to do with the Weeks family of Barnstaple in Devon.
Henry Weekes was a surgeon and went to Barcelona from New Zealand in the 1850s with his wife Sarah Ann nee Quartly and their two (as far as I know) children Francis (son) and Arminel (daughter).
I have Henry/Sarah Ann's marriage as well as the children's births/baptisms.
Any pointers to information would be gratefully accepted.
