Welcome to Rootschat

George Pierrie Milne married Agnes Inglis in 1922 which does not seem to fit with him having a father born in 1844

When and where was George Born?

An Agnes Milne aged 46 & George Milne ?45 or 48 of Stenhousemuir left for Canada on  12.5.1922.  However - Agnes was 46 then so could not have had your mother 10yrs later

Hello and welcome to RootsChat  :)

Form 30A for an Agnes Milne....

Agnes Inglis Milne age 24
With husband George

Destined to Charles Stewart in Winnipeg (Manitoba), down as Uncle

Contact back home father John Inglis of Stenhousemuir Larbert

Ship Corsisca, date of sailing indicated as 09 Jun 1922
Inland routing CP Railway to Winnipeg

This Agnes seems to be of an age to have had a child in 1932.

The index on Anc....y appears to have an incorrect date of arrival for this record. The back of the form has 19 Jun 1922 as the arrival date.

PB

Edited to add: Anc....y has an incorrect image for George's Form 30A. The correct form has him as age 30, same destination as Agnes above. His contact back in Scotland is his mother Jane Milne of 4 Tryst Road Stenhousemuir.

Is this the correct couple?
