Is the address preceding John Jones on the '51 Census "Troy Inn"?

I think that's the Fox Inn.

The 1861 has John JONES at
Piece:1878 /101/41
White Horse Inn which seems to be adjacent to the Fox Inn.

Wouldn't have read it as "Fox"?

Shropshire Directory 1851
http://specialcollections.le.ac.uk/digital/collection/p16445coll4/id/224593/rec/2

Use <  or  > to navigate pages.

Joseph Jackson "Troy/Fox Inn" on the '51 Census - a Joseph Jackson is mentioned under "Beerhouses".

See the map at https://www.old-maps.co.uk/#/Map/329044/329636/13/101315

which shows the Fox Inn and the White Horse.
