It looks like a Victorian/Edwardian terrace house.  :)

Are trying to find out who purchased the house in 1964, or are you looking for names of all owners? Did your grandmother own the house or was she renting?

If you had some idea of names you might be able to find them in electoral rolls or post office directory?  :-\

A number of properties in Montague Road look like they may have been built sround the 1960's.     

When did she cease to live there?

This house was built c 1890. My gt gparents lived there for years. Initially was number 9. Street renumbered c 1920. My grandmother lived there until 1964. Gt gparents died 1941 and 1950. Neither left a will . Somehow she got the ownership and later  transferred it to my father  ?
