I have found three potentials for Eliza(beth) in the Festiniog registration district. They are all listed as Griffith  (singular) and around the Llanfihangel y Traethau,/Penmorfa/ Ynyscynhaiarn area, so agree a certificate may be helpful

The 1867 marriage to Benjamin Jones was also Civil marriage,  Ffestiniog,  North Wales BMD has useful details in that her surname Evans was different,  and she is also listed as Griffiths.
NWBMD Is pretty good.
Still a certificate needed though

Nice one.

On FindMyPast as a parish burial.  I don't subscribe to be able to see more details.

Crumbs, what brilliant work, thank you.  I'm not up for buying any more certificates so I'll go with your detective work as well-evidenced surmise  :D

It's interesting that the 2 marriages for Elizabeth Griffith were Civil,, so presumably non conformist,  but Humphrey Evans  was buried in a Church.

Annie Evans was married in the Seilo Welsh Calvinistic Methodist Chapel in Llandudno, so a strong non-conformist streak in the family.
