It's a shame there's not an index at the start of the film really as that would be useful to show where each will was on the film.

But that takes all the fun out of it!   ;D  There might be some unexpected treasures to find on the way.  That's happened for me in the past.

Hi all

I'm posting this here rather than in a new post as it is to do with this subject [Sussex Wills].

I recently found a list I had made a while ago of Sussex wills proved in the "Probate Registry at Chichester 1482-1800" and I am trying to view them online but having a few problems. I'm pretty sure I should be able to view them as one of the wills in the list is one I looked at online at Familysearch last month. That will is the following one:

Elizabeth Puttock [widow] - Rudgwick - ref STC I/19/38b - Year 1636

I have a copy of that will but now I can't even find it lol!

Here are a some of the other wills in the list and if anyone can let me know where to look it would be brilliant. Also let me know if they can't be seen online .

Emery Puttocke - Slinfold - ref STC I/18/304 - Year 1634
Richard Puttock - Rudgwick - ref STC I/17/221 - Year 1628

Edmund Sayers - Pulborough - ref STC I/21/472 - Year 1652
Edmund Sayers - Pulborough - ref STC I/30/573 - Year 1702

There are others but if anyone can help me locate these it would be brilliant.

Thanks in advance.

Matt
