The 1980 death notice for Alexandrina shows the son to be living in Australia.

On making enquiry of NZ BDM re the missing death entry for Alexandrina, I received this message:

"Thank you for your email.

I have looked into your request & found that we do definitely have this record & it matches what you have provided  – however I have noticed that we don’t have the full Date of Birth for Alexandrina which is why it may be restricting this record to show up online."

The message went on to say that a printout/certificate could still be ordered.

Out of curiosity I have checked some deaths listed on line between 1979 & 1981 and there are a few where just the age at death is shown, not the date of birth. So I will be sending another message to NZ BDM about this matter shortly to get it sorted.
