Thank you Sandra for all that info.  I had almost nothing on the family. A Gordon Hall photo popped up yestetday and it threw these questions up.
I will go through all your posts properly tomorrow, but once again thank you.

I have the California family and many are in my FB friends. Incidentally, Letitia Maxwells ancestry can be found online going back to Ireland and Scotland in the 1400's. A huge amount of genealogy researched by others.
