Would anyone be able to put me in touch with a Family History person/Genealogist who would be able to do a look up for BMD records in Belgium. Regards David

May I ask if Giberte Philippart married anyone in Belgium ( the marriage certificates are now available after 75 years in Belgium, and death certificates after 50 years)?

Hi

Yes she married a Michael Bruce de Woolson (Air Force) They had a son Marc Roger Edwyn Desiree de Woolfson, b 1946. I assume Nivelles becouse there is no English birth record for him. However he died in England aged 6months.

Edwyn was his grandfather's name and I'm assuming Desiree was from the Belgium family?

Regards

If Desiree was his other grandfather's name, then perhaps the 1911 birth in Nivelles is indeed his aunt.

Just wondering, was your wife's birth registered in England or Belgium? If she had a Belgian birth certificate it might tell us more info about her grandparents.

The head Stone is correct. Our son was buried next to them August 2019.
