Just wondering if there's anything on Norbert Oppezzie born about 1915 . He married my wife's  aunt Yvette Philippart. He is shown as witness aged 30 on my wife's parents 1945 marriage certificate ( just finally recieved from Ville de Nivelles) and therefore assuming there marriage is within the 75 year rule.

Previously you's asked for DOD's. Local councils used to place group notifications of registrations of BMD events in newspapers. They won't give an exact event date, but it will be pretty close.
Here we go:

child#1)
Clementina Ludovica Legrand b 2 Jan 1870 Comen (i.e. Komen or Comines), d abt Mar 1921 Yper
     X 25 Feb 1911 to Eduardus Fredericus Casteleyn b 23 May 1872 Yper, d abt June 1935 Yper

Overlijdens:

Legrand Jeanne, 2 1/2 J- Poperinghesteenweg.
(is this child related to Clementine?)

DOD continued ...

child#5)
Emilius Theophilus Legrand b 4 Jan 1876 Yper, d bef April 1925
     X 01-04-1899 Yper
Livina Josephina Dufour b 23(?) Jan 1879, d abt July (or maybe 1 or 2 Aug) 1933 Yper

Livina had remarried in April 1925:
25 april 1925 | Het Ypersche
Stad Yper Burgelijke Stand van 1 tot den 15 April 1925
Huwelijken:
Beun Ludovicus, handelaar en Dufour Livina, kantwerkster, beiden te Yper.

Ludovicus Beun dies just 2 years later and Livina dies 8 years later:

6 augustus 1933 | De Poperinghenaar
Burgerstand van: Ieper van 27 Juli tot 2 Oogst 1933
Overlijdens:
Dufour Livina, 54 j., huishoudster, wed. Legrand Emile, wed. Beun Ludovicus, Tegelstraat 54

There is no sign of Emilius/Emiel/Emile and I wonder whether WW1 has anything to do with this...
FYI There is a large (March 1915) list of Belgian POW’s that have been taken to Germany. It contains an Emiel Legrand captured at Namen (Namur) who seems to have been taken to Munster.

May I ask for a possible translation of the paragraph "Renvois et annotations divorces" attached to my mother-in-laws 1927 birth certificate. It seems to relate to 1948
