Just wondering if there's anything on Norbert Oppezzie born about 1915 . He married my wife's  aunt Yvette Philippart. He is shown as witness aged 30 on my wife's parents 1945 marriage certificate ( just finally recieved from Ville de Nivelles) and therefore assuming there marriage is within the 75 year rule.

Previously you's asked for DOD's. Local councils used to place group notifications of registrations of BMD events in newspapers. They won't give an exact event date, but it will be pretty close.

There is no sign of Emilius/Emiel/Emile and I wonder whether WW1 has anything to do with this...
FYI There is a large (March 1915) list of Belgian POW’s that have been taken to Germany. It contains an Emiel Legrand captured at Namen (Namur) who seems to have been taken to Munster.
