If this is him and he was 41 in 1851 then he would have been into his 50s when he married Elizabeth in 1863.. Of course it is possible as it doesn't state their ages on the marriage record.

If wife Susan didn't die until 1868 he shouldn't be marrying someone else in 1863  :-X

However can we find this Susan in 1861 to see if she is the same lady?

1871 Stockton Durham

Susannah McIntyre 50 born Stockton widow income from property
Mary E McIntyre 25 born London daughter domestic duties

Thomas Moir 28 boarder ? plater
George Broin 23 boarder engineer

Oh but those ages aren't right are they if compared to 1841/1851  :-\

Can we find mother and daughter in 1861?

Mary Elizabeth McIntyre death Stockton Dec 1901 age 62

Are we on the right track do you think with this family?  The 1871 ages have thrown me off course and I can't find them in 1861.

This could be the same Mary E as 1871

1881 Stockton 2 Langdale Terrace

Mary E McIntyre head 34 unmarried lodging house keeper born Middlesex
plus 2 boarders

A Miss Mary Elizabeth McIntyre appears in a directory for 1890 3 Langdale Terrace

Still there in 1891 but it can't be the same woman as baptised 1838 can it  ???
