If Mary Ann was b Netherton any birth would be registered in the Pershore RD but there is nothing on freebmd

Think you may have to buy a copy of the 1884 marriage cert to find her fathers name

I have their marriage certificate now, giving Henry Brooks as Mary Ann's father, so now I'm trying to find his details.

Is there an occupation for Henry and who were the witnesses?

Henry was a coal miner, which makes sense that they were in Bulwell in Nottingham, the witnesses were Henry and Sarah Wardle.
