Can anyone help was he a professional footballer?
Folkestone, Grimsby Town, Hereford United, Merthyr Tydfil
Married to Hetty Smith

What does marriage cert give as his occupation? Or was he too young to already be a professional?

There was a Cornelius Holland footballer but the dates don’t tally

Just to be sure - the birth registration for Cornelius in 1918 was in the 1st Qtr of the year ( Jan/Feb/March) - you have his birthdate as August ?

Looks like the dates for the other guy in the football stats are wrong too, I can’t find a birth to tally with 1919.

They divorced in 1952.
