Looking for a city of residence - Simon Mayer 1880's, Germany
« on: Monday 02 March 20 22:01 GMT (UK) »
Hi all,  I'm Julian Mayer, great grandson of Simon Mayer and Marie Alicia Snell.  Simon was born in Germany in 1978.  His parents were Isak Mayer and Mathilde Mayer (Steiner).  I really need to find out where Simon Mayer lived with his family in Germany, in which city, its the only thing I'm missing for some important paperwork I'm trying to get together.  Can anyone please help me with this?  I thought he had lived in Ulm but a friend checked their local archives and it doesn't appear to be so.  His brother Alfred (Friedl) Mayer lived in Stuttgart until he left Germany too.  I know Simon left Germany in 1892.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Julian.
