Death of Robert R Johnson. 1926
« on: Tuesday 03 March 20 08:07 GMT (UK) »
A report in the Western Mail, dated 21 April 1926, records the death of Richard Johnson following an incident during a football match. I am finding it difficult to decipher the opening words of the report, which presumably describe the nature of his injuries. Can someone help me, please?

Sepsis is a life-threatening condition in which the body is fighting a severe infection that has spread via the bloodstream. If a patient becomes "septic," they will likely have low blood pressure leading to poor circulation and lack of blood perfusion of vital tissues and organs.
