Moses SIMMELL (c.1825-?) COMPLETED
« on: Wednesday 04 March 20 14:51 GMT (UK) »
Moses SIMMELL (SEMEL/SIMILL/SYMEL/SIMEL) was born in Cherrington and baptised down the road in in Tibberton in 1825. He appears to have done various AgLab jobs around the Telford/Shifnal area throughout the rest of the 19C and ended up in the Madely Union Workhouse in 1901 aged 76.

He appears never to have married and I can find no trace of him on the 1911. I, therefore, assume he died sometime between 1901and 1911 but when and where?

EDIT

oops - Found him!

Died Q1 1905 as SIMEL

Thanks, couldn’t find him originally on either FindMyPast or Anc.

He was actually 80 - unless he was baptised 3 years before he was born! Sad looking life.
