Burial/Grave records for – Walter Jones, Died 1916

Would it be possible for someone to look up Burial/Grave records for Walter Jones?
Walter died in an accident at work, at the Normanby ironworks on 3/12/1916 28 y o.  I think he would have been buried sometime after 5/12/1916 or 11/12/1916 as an inquest (1st one adjourned) took place into his death.
I have no idea which cemetery he is buried, or any grave details – which would be much appreciated.
As a side note, as far as I can tell Walter’s surname was “Bull” until his parents married in 1906 when he took the surname Jones.

Death was registered as Jones so presume any burial would be as Jones - not Bull

Walter Jones aged 28 years buried 7 Dec 1916.

No Grave details mentioned unfortunately. But they can be purchased for a reasonable amount here

                      Thank you for that information – much appreciated. That is very reasonable, there is a good chance I will be in Middlesbrough in the next few weeks but wouldn’t have time to visit the archives and cemetery.
I will post grave reference when I have time to check out your link.

From the Daily Gazette for Middlesbrough 6 Dec 1916:

JONES. On December 3rd of 3 James-street, South Bank, Walter, beloved husband of Mary R Jones.  Cortege leaves residence Thursday 2.30 pm.  Friends kindly invited.

Thank you for that tillypeg, spot on the correct person, I never knew the house number – so useful. Mary Rebecca was his wife.

I actually rang Teesside archives, a very helpful person looked up the grave details for me.
672 K, in front of the war graves?, they don’t have a grave layout plan as such so I don’t know if I visited, I would be able to find the spot he’s buried.
If anyone knows of a layout plan please let me know.

Thank you for that JayG,
I had come across that in my search, what I mean is a grave layout plan – so the person I’m looking for is in section K2, my local authority has plans of the particular sections showing how the grave numbers run (eg north west corner, right to left, 1 – 999) and the cemetery staff have added names and grave numbers with substantial memorials/headstones.
This enables you to reference approximately where a grave should be, given most are just expanses of grass.
