ROBERTSON death in France
« on: Sunday 08 March 20 14:35 GMT (UK) »
As I am not certain of the birth place of the child concerned, I am posting to this list a link on a French forum, to the death entry for Louise ROBERTSON, aged 2 years and 8 months, daughter of David ROBERTSON, captain of a merchant vessel, and Marie AGENLIN(or U)NS.  The father is a prisoner, presumably of war, in Angoulême. Louise died on 16 February 1795 and I think she was born in North Leith.  However, the spelling of the entry, even in French, is, let's say, unorthodox, and the place names difficult to read, so I'm not at all sure.

If anyone is interested I will translate the full entry.
