Reluctantly, Dorset Family History Society has made the decision to cancel the Family History Day event, which was to be held at Parkstone Grammar School on Saturday 21st March 2020 from 10 till 4, out of consideration for their potential visitors, exhibitors, speakers and volunteers because of the Coronavirus. They also did not want to be responsible for carrying the virus onto the school premises.

Treetops Research Centre at Suite 5 Stanley House, 3 Fleets Lane, Poole, BH15 3AJ will continue to give help and assistance to those working on their family history unless or until they are advised to close the facility. Details and opening times are again available on the website. There is also a Research Service for those who are unable to visit us.
