Edward Preston SLADE, born January 1842 (?), Watford

Hello,

Edward Preston SLADE was seemingly the illegitimate son of Edward PRESTON and the widow Susanna SLADE (nee RUSH).   The widow married a John PEDDER in 1844 and according to the 1861 England Census (RG9/235/10, p.24) Edward was now living with his mother and step-father in Shoreditch, Middlesex, working as a Carpenter.

The 1861 Census is my last sighting of Edward Preston SLADE.   Can anyone help with details after that date please??

Edward " Huston " Slade aged 21  of 12 Luke Street Finsbury buried 26 Feb 1863 Victoria Park Cemetery , Hackney.

I think this is Edward Preston Slade , looking at capital P elsewhere on the page the first letter is P , not H.

Edit - I see that's the address on the 1861 , so bingo !
