For what it's worth a family tree has your Albert with that birth and death date with a marriage in California 17 Aug 1918 to Ruby L Sloan.

Correct parents for Albert plus quite a lot of information including US census 1920 San Francisco which has info
father born England
mother born Ireland
which is correct
Hinchliffe - Huddersfield Wiltshire
Burroughs - Arlingham Glos
Pick - Frocester Glos

Sounds like it's the correct Albert. I tried to find Albert on the 1940 census on familysearch but they are having trouble with US censuses at the moment so was unable to do it. I will try again later. Looking for children.
I think it is the correct Albert.

Another item to look at is in the January 25, 1888 - Belfast News-Letter. It concerns a Samuel Lennox, of Aughrim, son of a Margaret Lennox and mentions him as a travelling draper, presently living in Bristol. The item is a bit 'sensitive', so only check it if you are happy to do so.

Ok, fitting with above re Samuel and knowing Mary married in Bristol in 1877, there are three Lennox family members, Samuel, Mary and Elizabeth, all born Ireland, living in household of and noted as cousin & lodger of, a Robert Stewart and his sister, Mary Ann Stewart, both of Ireland. Address, St  Paul Street. Year 1871.

By 1891 Samuel, a draper, is married and still in St Paul Street, with his wife and children. Transcript says birthplace for Samuel was IRELAND ANGLIUM, so likely should be Aughrim.

I really must look into those Bristol Lennoxes, especially Samuel. Seems quite a connection to drapers. Good clue regarding a Robert Stewart although I don’t have him on the tree as yet. What year was that census?
Thank you

Oops, forgot to say, it was 1871...I've added it to my post now.

A second Stewart sister, Ellen,  joins the household in 1881, by which time the Lennox siblings are gone. Robert Stewart and siblings are noted to be Tailors, all single.

On theme of Drapers,  there is an entry on PRONI:

Thanks again, scotmum. I do have William George Lennox on the tree and he did have a son Andrew. Andrew's occupation escaped me before.
