A possible:
Perranarworthal about four miles northwest of Falmouth and five miles southwest of Truro. On the 1905 map, home to the Perran Iron Foundry, Perran Warf, Perran Mills and St. Piran’s Church.

In 1851 a person on my tree states he was born in Perran.  His baptism took place in 1792 at Perranarworthal.

As I suggested a month ago ;)

When you split Perranarworthal into its Cornish parts; Perran-ar-worthal it makes more sense for it to be known as Perran. From the old maps, it looked an industrious area with different types of mills and mines, I assume shipping from the wharf, though by 1905, there was also a railway line.

Perranarworthal: right edge.

Marriage: Samuel Cornow & Elizabeth Ball
14 Nov 1827 . Mawgan-in-Meneage, Cornwall
Residence Place: Mawgan . Spouse's Residence Place: Mawgan

Where did you find her as 1808-1855?

The 1851 Census, suggests she was born in 1803 at Perran, the others were born at Mawgan. The 1841 Census suggests she was born in 1806. The marriage means she was born 1806 or before.

Burial: Elizabeth Curnow
13 Jun 1860 . Age: 50 . Birth Year (Estimated): 1810
Mawgan-in-Meneage, Cornwall
Residence Place: Wendrow

On the same page there are two named Samuel Cornow, one died aged 54, the other aged 84, both living at Halliggye? Possibly father and son.

Hi thanks for the replies.

I think the estimated year of birth came from possibly misreading Elizabeth Curnows age on the 1851 census, I've taken it as 43 when perhaps its actually 48? That would be the difference between 1803 & 1808, I hadn't noticed this before. I have her death certificate for 18 Jan 1855 at Halligay, Mawgan which records her age as 50 so another estimate year of birth as 1805. Elizabeth was buried 21 Jan 1855 at Mawgan-In-Meneage. So it seems she was born somewhere between 1803-1806.

The two Samuels you mentioned that died in 1859, one was the husband of Elizabeth and the other his uncle.
