William Taylor Mary Smith married 1817 North Clifton Notts
« on: Tuesday 17 March 20 09:56 GMT (UK) »
Hello I am trying to find details of my 4G Grandparents. William was born in Elston Notts around 1796. Mary was born in Normanton on Trent Notts around 1799. They were married in North Clifton Notts 1817 then moved to Sibthorpe Notts where they raised there family.
Does anyone have any information on their parents or siblings?

thanks

Robert

There are a number of children born  Elston baptised All Saints parents John & Elizabeth on freereg.

Sadly no records at Sibthorp on freereg. Too many records for Mary but none at North Clifton.

Possible burials for William and Mary at Sibthorpe St Peter:

1872 06 27   William   TAYLOR   age 80
1877 06 02   Mary   TAYLOR   age 81

so a possible dob for William of 1792, and for Mary Smith of 1796. That should help narrow the field. And it needs narrowing because on my Notts FHS disc, which is incomplete, there are 27 baptismsfor Mary Smith in the county between 1794-1798!!
